We are located on what we believe to be the most beautiful stretch of Long Bay beach - three miles of open white sand beach and sparkling clear turquoise water. The beach is beautiful white sand, wide and shallow. The coconut palms on the beach give shade and privacy, and tucked amongst them are comfortable Tiki huts with chaise lounges and chairs, along with beach umbrellas and hammocks.
Long Bay beach drive is on the South shore of the island, facing east. Sunrises are spectacular.
It is peaceful and quiet and only a handful of people walk the beach. It is mainly residential and uncrowded.
The water is shallow (3-5 feet deep), warm and bright turquoise. The bottom is safe and sandy, without any rocks or big breaking waves.
There is almost always a soft breeze that will cool you down and keep you comfortable during the summer.
The wind direction is conducive to great kiteboarding but beach-combing, walking, paddle-boarding and sunbathing are amongst preferred activities as well. Energizing sunrises and beautiful colorful sunset skies are a daily spectacle on the beach.
